Foam Centred Board (often referred to as Foamcore) is a lightweight rigid display material made from a polystyrene foam core sandwiched between smooth, printable paper surfaces. It is widely used for high-quality indoor signage, presentation graphics, exhibition panels and point-of-sale displays.

Impact on the Environment

Foam Centred Board is primarily made from extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam with paper facings, which offers a lightweight and efficient use of materials. While not as eco-friendly as fully paper-based boards, many modern foam boards are manufactured with improved environmental considerations:

Some ranges incorporate recycled content (up to ~15%) and are recyclable in certain streams
