ISO….so what?
April 3, 2014
Last month Whitehall passed an important annual audit, approving us once more for the gold Environmental Management standard ISO 14001:2004 and the Quality Management standard ISO 9001:2008.
With so many accreditations and schemes these days it would be easy to see this as just another logo on our headed paper. However, this particular mark of distinction is a demanding and measurable commitment with real benefits for our clients:
• Our efficiency measures have reduced our costs which is reflected in leaner pricing
• A full annual audit means our activities are 100% transparent and your print is as green as can be
• All complaints are logged and followed up internally with continuous improvement plans
The print & paper industry is often viewed as wasteful and even toxic, but the sector has radically changed in the last few decades. In fact, it has become one of the most sustainable, renewable industries on the planet through the continuous re-planting of new sustainable forests for pulp production.
Did you know? The forests of Europe are 50% larger today than in the 1950s.
